A Clear Beginning in 2021

In 2021, I founded and lead Autocycle Inc. dba Helix Motors with a simple mission: to rethink how we travel — offering a new, sustainable choice that’s smarter, safer, and genuinely fun to drive for today’s lifestyle.
While more 3-wheel cars are emerging, Helix is fully enclosed, true to the name Autocycle — combining the safety and comfort of a car with the efficiency and thrill of a motorcycle. Built from the ground up with global patents, precision engineering, and a clear vision for sustainable urban mobility, it’s designed to make commuting safer, more enjoyable, and better for our world.
Helix is a clean start — built for those who see the world differently, who know it’s time for a new choice in transportation for today’s lifestyle. For more than 135 years, the choice has been just motorcycles or cars. The era of one household phone and one family car is behind us. And yes, Helix leans into turns like a fighter jet, making every ride genuinely fun.

Motorcycles are efficient but leave riders exposed. Traditional cars are built for five, making them wasteful and unsustainable for solo travel. Three-wheel cars offer an alternative, but few combine all-weather enclosure, safety, efficiency, comfort, fun, and stability at all legal speeds in a single package.
The spark behind helix
Like many parents, I worried about the risks of motorcycles. My own parents discouraged me from riding, but I always wished for a vehicle that could be fun, compact, and give me the feeling of freedom. That wish became the blueprint for Helix.

Leadership
Tim McLellan — former Director of System Design at Blue Origin and a veteran of Ford Motor Company — has guided Helix’s engineering architecture for several years. Now serving as co-founder and Head of Engineering, Tim continues to lead our technical roadmap, sourcing and detailing components in 3D CAD development as we advance toward core system integration.
Roadmap to Production
Helix is advancing through a formal relationship with a global motorcycle and automotive manufacturer whose distribution spans over 100 countries across Asia and Europe. This partnership positions us for rapid scaling and strategic market entry.
